Moon Parts Rug by Art-in-Return

Each Art-in-Return piece plays with light, dimension and graphic composition, all elements we believe translate perfectly into a textile medium. Inspired by the many shapes the moon takes over the course of month, Moon Parts’ soft edges and sharper crescents are shown through a gradual rise in the pile height. Four partial moon crescents artfully move from low to high pile. These sections are framed by a low pile border and finished with stylish fringing at the top and bottom of the rug. With the right space, the rug could be wall mounted to really show the depth and texture of the piece.

Together with artist, Annemieke van Beek, the color and material were selected to best translate the look and texture the Art-in-Return artworks are known for. Choosing thick premium wool ensures the rug is resilient while remaining soft underfoot.
