Els van Egmond is driven by the desire to bring people into contact, to each other and their surroundings. Having people feel safe and sound wherever they may be.
Els is an architect in the Van Egmond family business, located on the Dutch coastline. With a strong team they design high end residential projects and hotels. Together they also develop large buildings, inside and out. Adding shape and depth to cities throughout the Netherlands.
Doing so, she is intrigued by details others might not notice. She finds balance between nature and concrete jungles. Both worlds that are filled with patterns, shapes and seemingly invisible lines that lead us to our destinations. To show her appreciation for these elements, Els designed two products for Frankly Amsterdam by the name of Capital city and Second Nature.
